User Manual
For chemical entry, search, location management, usage logs and group collaboration.

Getting started

  • Sign in or register with your email address.
  • Set your name under “Me” — a real name is recommended for usage records and group management.
  • Install it as an app: choose “Add to Home Screen” in your browser menu to use it like a native app.
  • Create or join a lab group to share chemicals with your team.
  • Agree on shelf-location naming, e.g. “Room 101 / Cabinet C / Layer 2”.
  • Start by scanning a few labels, then bulk-import your existing list.

Home quick actions

  • Scan label: photograph a reagent label to recognize and save the chemical.
  • Text import: enter CAS numbers, Chinese or English names line by line to import in bulk.
  • Excel import: download the template, fill it in and import in bulk.
  • QR codes: scan a chemical or location QR code with your system camera to open its page directly.

Adding chemicals

  • Pick or create a storage location before shooting (or scan a location QR code first).
  • Keep the CAS number, names, spec, purity and manufacturer clearly visible in the photo.
  • Review the result page after recognition; tap Edit to fix missing data.
  • Either a CAS number or a name is enough; the CAS number wins when both are present.
  • For several bottles of the same reagent, adjust the quantity to create multiple records.

Search & manage

  • The Chemicals tab searches by CAS number, name or location keywords.
  • The Location view browses rooms, cabinets and shelves level by level.
  • The Hazardous view lists dangerous chemicals — review it regularly.
  • Multi-select supports bulk move and delete.
  • Use Archive (not Delete) when a chemical is discarded but records must be kept.

Details & usage logs

  • The details page shows basics, properties, safety information, photos and the QR code.
  • Tap Edit to change the CAS number, name, spec, purity, manufacturer, location and more.
  • Tap Record usage to log the amount, unit, user and purpose.
  • With an initial amount set, the system deducts usage and shows the remaining amount.
  • Usage Logs on the home page lets you view, search and export chemical usage records.

Group collaboration

  • For a shared lab inventory, create or join a group.
  • The group owner shares the group number and invite code with members.
  • Members join with the group number and invite code, then share the group’s chemicals.
  • Owners can reset the invite code, edit group info, post notices, manage admins and remove members.
  • Keep permissions up to date as membership changes.

Statistics

  • The statistics panel shows totals, low stock, expiring, expired, hazardous, archived and location stats.
  • Check low-stock, expiring, expired and hazardous records monthly.
