1.1 ChemDBL is a chemical intelligent recognition and management system provided and operated by Juancheng Huashi Information Technology Studio ("we", "us" or "our"), helping laboratory, research and teaching users manage chemical information through image recognition technology. On chemdbl.com the service is provided through the website and its mobile web app; its accounts and data are separate from our China-based service at chemdb.top and its WeChat Mini Program.

1.2 The System mainly provides the following services:

• Chemical information query (with a built-in chemical reference database) and inventory management (quantity, specification, batch number, expiry date, storage location, low-stock and expiry reminders)
• OCR recognition and data extraction from chemical label photos
• Batch import and export of chemical data via Excel
• Generation, printing and scan-to-register of chemical QR code labels
• Group collaboration and data sharing (join via group number/invitation code; school and department affiliation supported)
• Instrument management and booking
• Usage records, disposal (scrap) registration and data statistics
• In-site notifications and feedback
• Value-added services: membership subscriptions (on chemdbl.com, paid plans are purchased through PayPal; the points-based tool platform is available only on the China-based service)

1.3 The System has the right to adjust the service content and functional scope according to business development needs, and will announce such adjustments within the System.

2.1 You need to register an account to use the full functions of this service. Please provide true, accurate and complete information when registering.

2.2 You can register or log in through the following methods:

• Email registration: any email address is supported; registration and password recovery require verification via email verification code
• WeChat login: log in quickly with your WeChat account in the WeChat Mini Program
• QR code login: scan the QR code with the WeChat Mini Program on the web page to confirm login

2.3 Email accounts and WeChat accounts can be bound to each other as the same account; after binding, data is shared between the two ends.

2.4 Registration means that you agree to all the terms of this agreement and the "Privacy Policy".

2.5 You should properly keep your account information and are responsible for all activities carried out through the account. If you discover that your account has been misappropriated, you should notify the System immediately.

2.6 If you need to cancel your account, you may apply to us through the contact information at the end of this agreement; see the "Privacy Policy" for the specific process.

3.1 You undertake that when using this service:

• You will comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China
• You will not upload information involving state secrets or trade secrets
• You will not upload obscene, pornographic, violent or other illegal information
• You will not engage in any behavior that endangers network security

3.2 The chemical information you upload shall ensure:

• Lawful sources, and true and accurate content
• No infringement of the intellectual property rights of others
• Compliance with the requirements of regulations on chemical management

3.3 You shall not use the System to store or disseminate the following content:

• Content that opposes the basic principles established by the Constitution of the People's Republic of China
• Content that endangers national security or divulges state secrets
• Content that incites ethnic hatred or ethnic discrimination, or undermines ethnic unity
• Content that undermines the state's religious policies, or promotes cults and feudal superstition
• Content that spreads rumors, disturbs social order or undermines social stability
• Content that disseminates obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence or terrorism, or abets crime
• Content that insults or defames others, or infringes on the lawful rights and interests of others
• Other content prohibited by laws and regulations

4.1 Rules for the use of chemical data:

• Chemical data is for lawful purposes such as laboratories, scientific research and teaching only
• The System shall not be used for illegal transactions, manufacture or other illegal activities involving hazardous chemicals
• Relevant safety norms and laws and regulations shall be followed when using chemical data
• Users are responsible for the authenticity and legality of the chemical data they upload

4.2 The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Malicious registration or bulk registration of accounts, or obtaining trial, invitation rewards or other benefits by cheating
• Maliciously scanning or attacking the System, or abusing OCR and other interfaces in a programmatic manner
• Reverse engineering or decompiling the System
• Deleting or modifying the System's copyright information
• Reselling or scalping membership benefits, points or redemption codes for profit
• Other behaviors that harm the interests of the System or users

5.1 Membership tiers. The System offers a free tier and paid membership tiers such as VIP, SVIP and Business. Different tiers have different quotas for storage space, monthly OCR recognition counts, maximum number of chemicals, maximum number of group members and monthly granted points; the specific quotas and prices are subject to the real-time display on the upgrade page. Group members can enjoy part of the benefits corresponding to the group owner's membership tier in group collaboration.

5.2 Purchase and payment. Paid memberships can be purchased via Alipay or WeChat Pay; purchases made in the Mini Program on iOS devices are completed through the WeChat virtual payment channel. Payments are processed by the corresponding third-party payment institutions, and the actual payment amount is subject to the display on the order page.

5.3 Term and upgrades. Membership benefits are calculated from the activation date according to the purchased duration. When upgrading to a higher tier during the membership period, the remaining duration of the original tier will be converted into the duration of the new tier according to price.

5.4 Free trial and other ways to obtain benefits. Newly registered users can obtain a VIP trial for a certain period; you can also obtain membership or points through redemption codes, inviting new users to register, interacting with our WeChat Official Account, and other activities. Activity rules are subject to the descriptions within the System, and we have the right to cancel the corresponding benefits for abusive behavior (such as bulk registration to farm rewards). A redemption code is used up once redeemed and cannot be revoked.

5.5 Points. Points are divided into monthly points and permanent points: monthly points are granted monthly according to the membership tier and reset monthly, while permanent points remain valid long-term; monthly points are deducted first when consuming. Points can be used for consumption of services within the System such as the tool platform (e.g. literature translation), and the points price of each tool is subject to the page display. Points cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cash.

5.6 Refunds. Membership services and points are virtual goods and are deemed delivered once activated or credited. Except where mandatory provisions of laws and regulations provide otherwise, or where the service cannot be delivered due to reasons attributable to the System, refunds are not supported. In case of abnormalities such as successful payment but benefits not credited, please contact us through the contact information at the end of this agreement, and we will reissue them or process a refund after verification.

5.7 Invoices. Paid orders support applications for electronic ordinary invoices (personal/enterprise title), which will be sent to the email address you provide after issuance.

5.8 We have the right to adjust the quotas, prices and free service scope of each tier according to operational conditions; adjustments will not adversely affect existing paid benefits within the purchased period, and major changes will be announced within the System.

6.1 The intellectual property rights of the software, technology and content (except content uploaded by users) provided by this service belong to us.

6.2 The intellectual property rights of all content of the System (including but not limited to text, images, software, programs, layout design, and the compilation and arrangement of the chemical reference database) belong to the System or have been lawfully authorized.

6.3 Without the System's written permission, you shall not copy, disseminate or modify the System's content in any form, or scrape the System's data in bulk.

6.4 For content you upload, you shall ensure that you have the corresponding rights or authorization. The rights to the chemical data and images you upload belong to you, and you authorize us to store, display and process them for the purpose of providing services.

7.1 The chemical information provided by this service (including the built-in reference database, online query results and OCR recognition results) is for reference only, does not constitute professional advice, and may contain recognition errors or outdated data. When actually using chemicals, please rely on the reagent bottle labels and the safety data sheets (SDS) provided by suppliers, and follow relevant safety norms.

7.2 The accuracy of OCR recognition is affected by factors such as image quality and label wear; you need to verify and confirm the recognition results yourself before saving.

7.3 We are not responsible for service interruptions or delays caused by force majeure, network conditions, equipment failures, or abnormalities of third-party services (such as payment and WeChat platforms), but we will make every effort to assist in handling them.

7.4 The System makes no guarantee as to the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of chemical data; users should verify the relevant information themselves, and you shall bear the consequences arising from your use of this service.

7.5 We regularly back up user data, but within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, the System is not responsible for data loss caused by force majeure, network attacks, system failures or similar reasons. Please export and keep copies of important data yourself.

7.6 The System is not liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by users arising from the use of the System, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

8.1 We have the right to adjust the service content or terminate the provision of services according to business needs; if services need to be interrupted for system maintenance or upgrades, the System will complete them within a reasonable time as far as possible.

8.2 The System has the right to suspend or terminate the provision of services to you under the following circumstances:

• The user violates this agreement
• The user maliciously uses the System (including malicious registration, attacks, farming benefits, etc.)
• Laws and regulations require termination of the service

8.3 If the System ceases operation entirely, we will announce it within the System in advance and keep a reasonable period for you to export your data.

9.1 We have the right to modify this agreement as needed; the modified agreement will be published within the System and will take effect from the effective date determined in the announcement.

9.2 If you do not agree with the modified agreement, please stop using this service; your continued use of the System after the modified agreement takes effect is deemed acceptance of the modified agreement.

10.1 The conclusion, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.

10.2 Any dispute arising from or related to this agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the people's court having jurisdiction at the place where the operator of the System is located.

11.1 The provisions of this agreement are independent; the invalidity of some provisions does not affect the validity of the others.

11.2 The System's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

11.3 This agreement takes effect from the date you agree to it.
